Dong Quai 1,000mg

It’s no surprise that in some Asian languages, there is no word for
menopause.For thousands of years, Dong
Quai has been used by herbalists in Oriental medicine to regulate hormone imbalance and as a tonic for the
female reproductive system. Active ingredients in Dong Quai, called coumarins, stimulate the central nervous system
and act on the blood vessels, bringing relief from hot flushes and vaginal dryness.
In clinical studies women taking Dong Quai reported a 25% decrease in menopausal symptoms, and
research shows long-term relief when taken for between 8 and 12 weeks, offering a herbal alternative to the well
documented risks of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
Anti-inflammatory properties may also reduce menstrual cramps and relieve pain from endometriosis.
A mild calmative, Dong Quai may help ease mood swings and stress associated with the menopause and PMS, plus as a
rich source of B12 may stimulate red blood cell production, boosting energy and lessening
fatigue.
